I have been staying focused on my studies. Last four weeks was mainly recovery from my surgery. I am still on my surgical boots and off work. I thank God everyday that I am getting better.

Wow, Foot surgery can be really something. I have been on narcotic painkillers from one week now and bedridden now and another week. After that I am going to on a surgical shoe for another month.

I am still on my goal lists but not efficiently. I want to be able to walk again.



I can't wait to graduate next fall.

Plans for next week is to be able to tapper off my medications. Be able to walk without a walker and find myself a new job!!!!

Status report. week of 09/26/2016

COSC 3325

So, I accomplished one of the biggest thing that I have been putting off. I have this pain on my left ankle for 25 years now. Finally I decided to do something about it. So, got my MRI done. Met with an orthopedic surgeon and he told me that I have a tear in my tendon. It needs repair. So, schedule my surgery on this Thursday October the 6th. Got my pre-admit done and I am ready to fix it. I will almost bed ridden for two weeks and then on surgical boots for a month after that. But I will be pain free!!!!

Thank You Jesus.

I am swamped with my four classes and work and kids and parents but I am thankful to GOD! I am thankful that I have the blessing to have a perfect family and work and school! It's hard but I am thankful for all this.

I am ahead of my assignments. Just a little concerned about exams in coming week because I might be in a lot of pain to focus but God be with me! Ameen!

I am planning to study ahead for all the exams because of this upcoming surgery!! Thats the plan starting this coming week!!

This is the first time I am ahead of class schedule by 3 days WOOHOO!!!

I have feared computers all my life, it's always been overwhelming. I guess I come from the non-computer age. But I have to get over it.

I am ahead of my schedule and that feels AMAZING!! I got this!!

I am planning to get way more organized than I am. Every day is new day to learn and live!!!

Hello Everyone.

My name is Salima Damani but I go by a nick name Sheena. This is my 2nd bachelor's degree. I had finished my first bachelor's from back home 27 years ago. It took me a long time to get back to school. I tried to start all over again but none of my courses applied towards the degree here. I did get a 60 hour credit but the courses that I finished was too old and not relevant in USA. So, I got into a nursing program but that did not work for me. i changed my major and here I am. I graduating next Fall.
